I NEED TO APOLOGIZE

I've been carrying guilt around with me for weeks now.

And it's gone on so long that there is nothing I can do

but throw myself on the floor at your feet and beg forgiveness.

How could I go so long without posting?

I also haven't read your latest blog posts.

I don't even have a good reason.

I've sat here day after day with my foot elevated,

it's been 12 weeks now.

It's not like I'm out standing on my street corner working.
I'm sitting.

In my bedroom.

Watching Memorial Day's "HOARDERS" marathon.

I'm beginning to like the look.

Shame on me.
I'm not even Catholic.

My dog is, but I'm not, so I don't understand why that nun's scowling at me. . . . .

I'm not too busy,

I'm lazy??

It's possible.

All I know is that I'm sorry.

Please forgive me?

Yours in scum, Jan

You are forgiven my friend. I haven't done any posting either. Nor do I have any reason. Just nothin' to say I guess.
Glad to know that you're taking care of that foot.

Arise oh wicked one (as I slap you on the forhead) ye shall be healed!

Don't get too dramatic now, besides I haven't done any of that either, but then I did have a good reason........I had a craft show and a wedding to contend with. With my disabilities both were equally taxing, and yet here I am today.........totally burned out!

Take care of the foot and don't worry about anything, except.........putting said foot in mouth!

Rest up, we'll wait for you!

Hugs,
Meri

Dearest Jan,
How could I NOT forgive with such adorable photos?!? Sheesh...you are blogging with NO OBLIGATION, remember? Only when you want, HOW you want...dig? So no guilt allowed! The picture of the "Brown Nun" made me laugh...I always think those of us who are so easily riddled with guilt are either Catholic or Jewish...lol. Regardless, all is forgiven...and now, back to the TV, yes?!

Ummm, how do you know the dog is Catholic? I watched two episodes of the Hoarder's show. Fascinating!!! Horrible!!! Fascinating!!!!

I can't imagine having much to say after having your foot up for 12 WEEKS, let alone 12 days. Unbelieveable. I still think you need a medal...

I came back to check on you & to see how that foot is doing. See you are still OFF that foot. I would think so with all of the stuff they did to it! POOR THING! Will you be ready by Paper Cowgirls? I just took 2 classes is all. But, I plan to be there Thursday night & of course all day Saturday (classes) & vendor night. Can't wait to meet you. TAKE CARE & DON'T PUSH IT! Charlene

I got a good chuckle out of your post. Is your dog a good Catholic?

At any rate, I guess this means 20 lashes with a wet noodle for you, LOL. I hope your foot is healing well. I know it is a drag. Watching hoarders is like a train wreck. You just can't look away.

We've missed you, my dear. :D

Smiles to you,
Teresa

You're so funny! If you're apologizing for not blogging for a few weeks? months? I need to apologize for not blogging for 2+ YEARS!!! ha ha! There's been a couple of posts, but not many! I'M DONE WITH SCHOOL!!!!! On June 7th I start my 8 weeks of INTERNSHIP and then I sit to take the REGISTRY, so I'm a Registered X-Ray Technologist! Sooo... I'm not out of the woods just yet, but done with all the classroom stuff and it feels so good!

How is the leg, ankle, foot coming along? Healing nicely????? I hope so!

Take care and have a good weekend!
Hugs,
Angela

My verdict....... NOT GUILTY! I know what it is like to get in a rut, daze, funk, drunkin' stupor (well not that), or just plain lazy craze!!! I think it is some kind of survival tool. I have been trying to snap out of my daze for quite some time now. You are in good company Janny girl!!! Draggin' that foot around would certainly slow my pace.

A mess of hugs to you!!!

The dog is so cute. Look at his face really adorable. No need to apologize there are times when you just don't feel like doing what you usually do. It's normal I guess.

Oh dear Jan - I hope you are healing and have been able to get back to your job on the street! Really - I do sympathize - I broke two toes on my left foot the day before I had a total knee replacement on my right knee. I was beyond miserable. Just wanted to stop by and tell you I'm looking forward to seeing you at PC this year. I'm so excited - it feels like going to camp once a year to see all my old camper friends from the summer before...except we don't have to hike to the bathrooms or go canoeing! See you soon! xoxo Nancy

Thank you so much for posting the way you do. I see your blog roll my way from time to time. Love your way of "being" and find it strange crying over something you're going through not even knowing you! (Thankful for the laughs as well).
We had a little ferrel kitten show up at the house last week. Injuries and scars, wouldn't let anyone get near him.
This week, after feeding and loving, he never met a stranger he didn't love.
Will just strike that up to Mr. Ben above putting a little love into the world.
Best,
Angie

Oh scummy one,
I am scum too, as I have been planning on emailing you for weeks now & life just keeps getting in the way. I used some of the organza ribbon I bought from you & thought' oh I miss Jan, I need to say hi'. I had a blast meeting you in the flesh & keeping you as a member of the T&T sweatshop. What a pricer you are! I think the fabric you asked about was the scrim (much nicer cheesecloth) & organza. I copied photos onto muslin & burned organza. You can also copy images onto crinoline fabric. Get it at Hancock or Joann's, cut the size of copy paper & feed it thru the printer. It makes beautiful prints, kind of ghostly. Email me if this isn't right. Miss U! Lisa
