PARIS IN THE SPRINGTIME SHADOW BOX

This brown shadow box measures 8 3/4" X 10 3/4".
It has a glass front and is 2 1/4" deep.
Springtime in Paris! Can't you just imagine it?
I'd be at the Paris flea market spending all of Frank the Tank's money! Hmmmmmm.........

This sweet Whimsy girl lives in Paris among the struggling artists and the amazing history. She is fond of birds, pale pink roses and collects designer purses.
I used Paris themed patterned paper in this shadow box.
The writing and art is in brown and the background is a pale pink.
There is a french receipt, white dove and metal fork that looks like it was bought at the Paris flea market nesting at the top of this collage.
The pink rose is made of paper and looks very real - can you see that she's holding it as she reads? Perhaps it was from an admirer.....
The gold trim behind the rose is from a vintage album. It was used as decoration on a page. I don't know where it came from or what it is! But it looks beautiful in this collage.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog! Please leave a comment so that I'll know you were here!

xoxo,

Jan

I love French themed art! Good touch with the girl holding the flower.
